An eastbound Canadian Pacific train emerges from the Bow Valley as it enters Cochrane, Alberta on May 26th.
Uhhhh why? Appeal has been sent, but this is a pain. YouTube just keeps giving me reasons not to upload. Anything I have ever used in a video has proper credit. It's a train channel, not sure how that violates anything.
CBNS backs through downtown New Glasgow shoving coal empties to Trenton.
The early morning sun creates a nice silhouette on the trees as a westbound CN train comes rolling through Spruce Grove, Alberta.
CN 515 crosses the main feature on the Sangudo Subdivision. This is the Rochfort Bridge that crosses both the Paddle River and Highway 43. Two short sections have been replaced with steel. One of which is seen in the picture.
CN 516 holds the main at Onoway as they wait for 515 to arrive.
Stop number 2 on our journey up the Sangudo Subdivision was the wooden bridge just east of Villeneuve. This old bridge spans a river and highway 633. The highway would be directly behind me.
On March 21, 2018 myself and a friend chased CN 515 up the Sangudo Subdivision. This line is home to many wooden bridges, and elevators but rarely sees daylight moves. We started the day here, in St. Albert next to the elevator park as CN 2407 leads the train out of Edmonton.
Sometimes a little framing can add to a photo, even if it is a fence. CN Q196 waits at Acheson, Alberta. The crew ahead of them on A416 are out of hours and require a recrew.

Likely going to be starting a new series over the next few months. Similar to the Mainline Profile I put out last year, but specific to a city or town. A railfan guide to (insert name). Was thinking of starting with Edmonton, but might start small with my home town. Stay tuned!
