BREAKING: UConn has landed big man Tarris Reed Jr., a transfer from Michigan, sources told @TheFieldOf68. The 6-foot-10, 265-pound sophomore averaged 9.0 points, 7.2 boards and 1.4 blocks last season. One coach on Reed: "Big body, light on his feet, wants to work and improve. His weaknesses are his ball skills - locked to low-post with limited moves. He needs to go to moderate pace place that will play thru low post - maybe a 20-minute guy."
@GoodmanHoops @TheFieldOf68 Well he was a 26 min a game guy this year so that math checks out
@GoodmanHoops @TheFieldOf68 Typical of you Jeff to have to add something negative when it comes to UConn. Now bow down and kiss the RINGS!
@GoodmanHoops @TheFieldOf68 Your sources are @TiptonEdits @JonRothstein and Reed Jr’s social media
@GoodmanHoops @TheFieldOf68 Uconn fans telling me he’s the best big out there lmao would’ve been a backup at Michigan
@GoodmanHoops @RobDauster @TheFieldOf68 Turns out hosting players during championship parades is good
@GoodmanHoops @TheFieldOf68 Uconn said we need more turnovers so they took him
@GoodmanHoops @TheFieldOf68 That is the perfect scouting report. Amazed the defending national champs took him.
@GoodmanHoops @TheFieldOf68 Since uconn big men generally play about 20 minutes a game, this shouldn't be an issue.
@GoodmanHoops @Cue_the_Music @TheFieldOf68 @connorclapp15 @cbeef5 are we known for developing bigs or something??😎 playing up to 20 minutes sounds like a great compliment to Samson
