@JohnDallas88 @abierkhatib Thats such an American opinion. Yeah, you know who pays for it? The government and taxpayers, but all the American tax money just goes to the fuckin military instead because they want all their citizens to be dumb and sick and poor while they invade other countries for Israel

@KuviacM @MarkusWhitman @abierkhatib What has cost got to do with wait times? The waiting list depends on the availability of people who are able to perform the surgery. The option for expensive private fast health exists in Australia, its just not mandatory and is rarely necessary for the vast majority of treatment

@KuviacM @MarkusWhitman @abierkhatib Why would I need health insurance when everything is paid for already aside from larger procedures that your insurance companies are known for rejecting claims for enough that half the country had no empathy for the health insurance who ceo got shot?

@KuviacM @MarkusWhitman @abierkhatib Idk where that's come from because Ive never paid a thing, and almost never hear about people struggling to pay for medical procedures in Australia, but I mever stop hearing stories about people going homeless because they had a hospital visit in usa

@KuviacM @MarkusWhitman @abierkhatib I dont pay enough taxes that it has any negative effects on my life that are worth having to pay for insurance or a hospital bill

@KuviacM @MarkusWhitman @abierkhatib I got stitches put in, taken out, free, no insurance. i currently get paid enough by the government to live comfortably between jobs in a nice house. USA's health system is one of the worst in the world and the taxes go to unnecessary wars instead of helping the country thrive.

@JohnDallas88 @abierkhatib In Australia, i got my stitches immediately and then taken out on the exact day that was recommended, and it was all free.

@MarkusWhitman @abierkhatib So instead of paying higher taxes, you'd rather be scared to go into debt for the rest of your life every time you get sick or injured? Higher taxes means the whole country gets better support systems in place, thats what a good government does

@abierkhatib To anyone saying this isn't bad, I had 7 stitches put in my chin with a week's worth of dressing to take home at an urgent care, And then taken out at a normal doctors visit in a different town all for free with no insurance in Australia.
