As CDO with @LouGovIT I was able to help build open source tools for cities with partners like @GovInTheOpen, @IFTTT, @waze, @awscloud, @CARTO, and @heyslingshot, & this role with OMF will continue that work: building free tools to help cities manage the public right of way. 3/x

@jfh @KansasCityEric @HarvardAsh And not just standards. More importantly we need to collectively build tools (if companies won’t build them for cities) that we can all use to make sense of the data, and not build tools/use cases independently. See the @GovInTheOpen Waze project as an example.
