Hi jacking: Umgeni Road Durban. Three men tried to take the female driver hostage. She managed to escape. Another motorist witnessed the incident and shot and wounded one suspect. He was arrested. The other two fled.

Glen Rafferty and his wife Vida were murdered on their farm in the Normandien area, Newcastle KZN, last night. Their dog was also shot. A vehicle which was stolen has since been abandoned on the N11 between Newcastle and Ladysmith.@MakeSAsafe
