@___GJS___ Yeah I didnt mean LB more a mistake on my part, he can play left back, but were insisting on playing Full Backs and trying to shoehorn players into these positions. JJ just cant take on a man, ball retention is only good if we have a plan at the end of it, which we don't.

@adwatkins8 Can't catch a cold, hard to feel confident as a defender with Keeley behind them currently.

@LTFC_Dave Trouble with that is, he hasnt cared about Portugal winning but himself winning the world cup. Sad really because like you say, one of the top 2 players of this generation, he wasnt the reason they were eliminated but would be the reason they wouldnt win the world cup.

@Paragoric Just a case of less is more, too many pointless games to build up to this point. While the occasional upset is good to see, it will still result in the same teams in the later phases. 32 teams is plenty.

@LTFC_Dave @LutonTown Sadly we wont make the same decision until December when we're floating around 18th.

@LTFCsmithy They'll wait till its mathematically impossible for us to make playoffs. Nothing short of woeful today. Decision needs to be made now.

@wearelutontown They wont but they should, we've been absolutely woeful today, this isn't going to improve with Bloomfield in charge. There is literally no identity to this team whatsoever.

@LewisT_Williams Some might say its only a cup game, but Yates looked real sharp in the first half, Richards looked really solid in midfield throughout, and Morris at the end showing off his pace and confidence. Those are only a small number of promising signs tonight.

@LTFC_Dave Certainly looks well up for it, it may only be a cup but if thats what it takes to get him going in the League, looks a completely different player tonight.

@LTFCsmithy He just cant defend, and there is nothing wrong with that except for the fact he gets put in a defensive role. Hopefully it all works out but I just cant see it.

@LTFCsmithy Oh yeah im aware of that, I'm just frustrated Alli and Kodua for that matter, are being forced into positions because we arent recruiting efficiently just papering over cracks. Another window passes and we yet again come out of it making profit with an incomplete squad.

@LTFC_Dave Atleast 1 full back, while we've got plenty of attacking options, could of really done with one full back to bring Alli further up the pitch.
