Hey Tennessee #tnleg Indiana just changed their State logo. 👀. Look familiar? 👀 Wondering: 1. Why the uniformity of State logos? 2. Did they pay $50k for theirs too? 3. I thought State Signs were to reflect their state’s personality? 👀Thins that make u go hummm👀
I guess someone else discovered that instead of paying a graphic design department, you can just go into PowerPoint and choose that shape and type a letter in it – boom, done. #Branding Most people don’t realize that when companies change their logos (like for pride month/quarter/semi annual) it costs millions if not tens of millions of dollars. They pay the graphics team who then distribute new graphics, letterhead/PPT templates, new physical signs/banners/swag, and then some cases change the corporate logo on various corp applications & webpages. When you’re dealing with thousands of IT/Marketing people who make $80–200/hr every one of these flippant rebranding efforts costs taxpayers/investors far far more than anyone realizes.
