@bot Reminders is the sleeper here. A lot of small business follow-up lives in someone's phone. An agent that can see it and flag what's overdue is a big deal.

Week two is acting on the list. Week one was just finding out where the leaks are.

The rule that made this an easy yes: read-only. They read, flag and draft. I decide.

I pointed a few read-only agents at my business for a week. Not to automate anything yet. Just to look. Here's what they found. 🧵

I run a business with a sales team and a lot of leads. An agent audited our follow-up. New leads got a call in about 20 minutes. The interested ones went quiet for days. We didn’t need more leads, we needed to call back the ones we had.

Week one of putting agents on my business, they found three things: A vendor that refunds bad leads if you ask within 7 days. Nobody was asking.
Warm leads that went quiet for days after saying “maybe.”
A field the agent refused to report on because the data was cut off. The last one is my favorite. It told me what it couldn’t see instead of guessing.
