We addressed the issue during a 15 minute inservice segment and printed a memo for roll call read offs.

None of our officers were high and harassing people in that area. A check of the CAD shows we had 3 intoxicated officers on shift around 3pm on southeast district.

On the first day of early voting in Red Hook, @NYPD76Pct officers confronted community activists handing out PPE in front of an early polling site & then seized it. This is unacceptable, the NYPD must issue clear guidelines & not escalate situations at the polls.

For everyone who thinks we do a subpar job now with our current budget, just wait till we’re defunded. We’d cite data that says funding of officer numbers have direct impact on violent crime, but all the “scientists” say presence has no deterrent effect. SMH.
Hey @Kristin4Indy, concerned voter. IMPD needs to be defunded. 1/3 of the budget on contracted killers? Money needs to be spent on mental health, education programs, art programs, more rental assistance, public housing, infrastructure, etc. Vote no to the proposed 2021 budget.
We strive to give the public the performance they literally pay millions for! Like we always say at roll call, going to and from work, “Put your blinders on!”

@indy10people We are people and we need that money. A lot of us have homes in Franklin township, a boat payment, and private school tuitions to pay. And our part time money largely goes towards our side girl/guy or only fans subscriptions.
We’re awesome at what we do - it’s all in how we sell the numbers. We get people to believe there is a correlation between our budget/staffing and crime rate, then we make the claim that high crime is caused by insufficient funding. Bam, budget approved. IndyParks can suck it.
