Adult Star Teanna Trump recalling when Bill Maher paid her to have s*x with him and to go slowly and kiss him as if she loved him. "He was like, 'Slow down baby' every time... he wanted to kiss and make love. I'm trying to get this done and leave."

One thing I haven’t seen anyone talk about when discussing Clayface: we got our first look at what Gotham City will look like in James Gunn’s DCU. While we wait to see who will be Batman I like how Gotham is looking

@HQNewsNow @MeidasTouch Donald J Trump is a rapist so it tracks that he would take the side of another rapist

@TheCinesthetic The Terminator. Sarah and Reese’s sex scene. No John Connor no story without that scene

@kaitlancollins Donald J Trump is a child rapist so it’s no surprise he’s siding against a victim.

@DFoundingTitan Definitely a fair and point. Though the circumstances are different. They didn’t have the rights for Spidey at first. Though I have no problem with the DCU not revealing Batman yet

I saw Zi at Sundance earlier this year. It’s a beautiful understated film. Happy to see it’s going to get a theatrical release

@DreThaPrince1 For me personally was the stop motion animation but the world building is amazing too

Kicked off AFI Fest tonight with Wildwood! Every once in a while, a movie comes along that reminds you just how magical filmmaking can be. Wildwood is one of those movies. Laika has always pushed the boundaries of stop motion animation, but with Wildwood, they’ve taken it to an entirely different level. The animation is absolutely breathtaking. The amount of detail in every frame, from the characters to the environments, is remarkable. There were moments when I genuinely forgot I was watching stop motion animation. It’s that beautiful and fluid. The special effects are equally impressive, blending so seamlessly with the handcrafted animation that everything feels like part of the same living, breathing world. But what makes Wildwood so special is that it’s much more than just a visual achievement. This is a surprisingly mature fantasy adventure that isn’t afraid to explore darker themes or put its characters in genuinely dangerous situations. The characters are wonderfully written, rich with personality, emotion, and depth. Even the supporting characters feel fully realized rather than simply existing to move the story along. You become invested in their journeys, and that’s what makes the adventure so compelling. And what an adventure it is! The world-building is incredible, drawing you deeper into this fantastical world as the story unfolds. There’s a real sense of wonder, danger, and discovery throughout the film. I also have to mention Dario Marianelli’s absolutely beautiful score. It’s sweeping, emotional, and perfectly complements both the quieter character moments and the film’s enormous sense of scale. The music adds so much to the experience. And then there’s the final battle. Without spoiling anything, I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say that the scale and spectacle rival something you’d see in The Lord of the Rings. It’s that epic! The choreography, cinematography, animation, and sheer number of things happening on screen are astonishing. It’s one of the most impressive sequences I’ve ever seen in a stop motion animated film. What I love most about Wildwood is that it never feels like it’s talking down to its audience simply because it’s animated. It treats its story, characters, and themes with the same seriousness and ambition you’d expect from a great live action fantasy epic. Wildwood is a beautiful reminder that animation isn’t a genre. It’s a medium capable of telling stories just as rich, mature, and emotionally engaging as anything in live action. Director Travis Knight and everyone at Laika have created something truly special here. It’s a stunning achievement in animation, storytelling, and filmmaking. One of the best animated films of the year and an absolute must see on the biggest screen possible.

@wariocolosseum @PopejoyWriter I remember Ted Sarandos had a meeting at the White House and a few hours later Netflix officially dropped their bid for WB.

CA’s expanded film tax credit is showing results in L.A., a new FilmLA report finds: Incentivized productions logged more than 2x as many on-location shoot days in the 3rd quarter as a year earlier. But total filming was down 4.8% year over year and nearly 29% below the five-year average.

@billplunkettocr Ohtani is amazing what he has done but fatter time is catching up with him. At 32 we’re seeing how taxing it is for him to be a 2 way player

@MeidasTouch His dementia is getting worse. The way he’s lashing out. This Klan rally. And nobody cares

A24 has too many films to push so this makes sense. Was surprised to see Netflix given A24 and HBO Max’ deal but I forgot Chris Rock has a working relationship with Netflix. Misty Green isn’t a perfect film but I enjoyed it. I hope it finds an audience on Netflix next month

I’m not one to complain about movies coming out especially in theaters but last week and this week have been insane and hard to schedule. Like Edgar said spread them out!

@OurShallowState I saw that with my grandparents. Like you it reminded me of that time when they would get irrationally angry and lash out

@factpostnews He looks really sick here. Also he’s going to get violent one day. You can see the dementia is getting worse

NAZA, the new film from Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor. "One of the most important films of our time." Bilge Ebiri, NY Magazine. Now playing in theaters nationwide. A NEON release.
