Forget all the other moving parts. If you could trade BI for Mitchell, knowing that Mitchell will only be here one year — he will be happy and play well, but he is gone after the year — would you make that trade?
The future of the Pelicans franchise is far less dependent on what the Pels do and far more dependent on the Lakers and Bucks Because the ONLY way the Pels can be a true contender moving forward is if one or two of those picks owed hits big Literally no chance outside of that
