@dawlyndiaz @viperbirdie @Pokemon You don't even need to pay for this, you can load the ROM for your original copy with no mods to the Switch. Just load a custom launcher on the SD card along with the game and it plays seamlessly. This is just a cash grab for people who are too lazy to do like 10 minutes of work.

@nintendo_chall @Pokemon The...same way they did 20 years ago when this game came out and pick arbitrarily because it has literally no impact on the gameplay...?

@heycuri She is literally just grifting donations anyway so why the hell would she bother to care about... Well, anything? She knows she has zero shot so why put in anything beyond the bare minimum effort?

@JimDavisMTG Voting with your wallet is pointless anymore. The game isn't funded by players at this point, it's funded by scalpers at the base level and players just have to get screwed by middlemen now. Been that way for a long time.

@SennaBunn_ To be fair even if they were registered the place that we live is pretty worthless to vote in. 😂

@ppadev @CalebDMTG That's mind-blowing that he even thinks that's possible to do. Fluoride is naturally occurring, it isn't a random chemical that we added just for fun, we just added more of it for the verifiable benefits it provides. 😮‍💨

@MaisieLynn17 Why do I get the feeling that this has to do with Asmond somehow? 😕

@Burning_Lotuz My guess is that Mark probably doesn't love what's happened to the game but he can't leave due to being effectively the face of the brand. They'd pay him bucket loads to stick around.

@AshenbubsHD Been playing Albion Online lately and I was surprised that it felt just as rich as XI in terms of world building for a game that doesn't have any sort of central storyline or even any quests. All the zones are really well thought out and it gives me such good vibes.

@CubeApril I might be getting a little too into the weeds as a rulebook maker but I like when cards directly reference themselves by name for clarity personally.

@CubeApril That isn't what I said. I said it offers consistency. Sure would be cool if they used it.

@CubeApril Not to be contrarion but I kind of like the way these are templated. It feels a little robotic, yes, but the consistency it offers is nice.

@TcgToni @Rebell_Lily They could have done away with the color pie and made a new resource system and kept most other aspects of the game the same. It wouldn't even have to be "too different" but would still let them play around with new designs while reusing assets they already had. A shame really.

@Zaxzom1 @Rebell_Lily It's cause Magic story is pretty incoherent. I used to love WoW lore until it also started turning into a huge schizopost and then stopped caring too. 😕 I doubt I'm the only person who feels this way.

@TcgToni @Rebell_Lily A spinoff game with similar rules would have been so cool. Would have let them explore new design space as well. If they branded it as a Magic product but made it clear it was a new game it probably would have been successful too.

@Rebell_Lily Kamigawa is when I started too, and for the same exact reason. I came back for Neon Dynasty as well. Game sucked though so I quit again shorty afterwards.
