Excited to share photos from my recent travels meeting with Home and Community Care Support Services staff. Our offices reopened last month and this was my first opportunity to connect face-to-face with staff. Thanks to @TC_LHIN for helping to kick-off these valuable visits.
Today I visited with @CentralEastLHIN staff and enjoyed talking about the important work we do in home care.
Many thanks to our @Central_LHIN Placement team members for welcoming me on-site! Had insightful discussions on how to drive excellence in care and service delivery in home and community care.
There’s so much to gain from exchanging best practices and learning from each other. We can use what is working well and leverage existing successes for the whole system. Thank you @HNHB_LHINgage for making me feel so welcome.
It was amazing to connect with @MH_LHIN staff based at @HaltonHlthcare’s Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. As I travel across our offices, I am continuously impressed by how passionate staff are about our work and providing the best care possible to patients.
I began my career as a nursing student. At 17, my class was in the hospital making beds and engaging with patients. It was overwhelming, but so rewarding. Visiting with @champlainlhin, I continue to see how our staff share that drive to go above and beyond to help patients.
Last week, I visited our Barrie office and had the privilege to talk with an employee who has been with us for over 20 years! Like so many others, thank you for your deep commitment to our patients, despite all the changes working in health care brings.
Visiting with the Central West team, I’m so proud to have had the chance to speak with the team. I was also able to personally thank the IT team, who provide an essential service to keep the business running during and after the pandemic.
