Since this is APPARENTLY a hot take I'll have to post it but, megatron will never legally be sold as a walhter 38 handgun again. It's literally illegal for hasbro or any other company to produce and sell imitation toy guns nowadays in the united states. (Source: FederalRegister)
It's literally not up to hasbro whether or not they can or cannot sell a new G1 megatron as a gun again. It's up to the federal government. I've seen so many people complaining that the robosen megatron isn't a gun. It's ridiculous.
@HailKingCrimson Also how would that work? Would he just lay on the ground making gun noises? I do wonder if Takara will do a missing link Megatron and just put the orange plug in the barrel.
@HailKingCrimson At this point I would be happy with a action master megatron that comes with a gun mode accessory. That's basically what I did with the megatron in collection.
@HailKingCrimson Those are not serious people, I just laugh at them.
@HailKingCrimson So that means they can do a cybertronian gun mode? Only if it doesn't look like a real gun?
@HailKingCrimson Anyone who expected him to turn into a gun ISA fool, but I am surprised his robot mode isn't more G1. Not my thing though and I get the tank alt mode. Now for Missing Link...Takara yes please? Come oooooon, I'll pay extra and everything.
@HailKingCrimson I don’t understand why some were expecting a gun like, what’s it supposed to do in gun mode? Sit there? Both Optimus and grim had stuff to do in both modes so of course it was gonna be a tank
@HailKingCrimson Making a guy turn into a handgun is a challenge in and of itself, having to turn that into an actual robot with all the features and a fully automated transformation would be a nightmare!
@HailKingCrimson Can they still do like, nerf gun type things? Not trying to be an asshole, I genuinely don't know what the laws are
