Ja vad säger man.
🚨 OFFICIAL: Lisandro Martínez releases new statement after meeting with Carrick and club directors. “Today I met with the club’s leadership and the manager. It was a very positive conversation, where we were able to exchange views and speak openly about what happened after the
🚨Zinedine Zidane on who truly deserves to win the 2026 Ballon d’Or: 🗣️Reporter: “Zinedine, who do you think deserves the Ballon d’Or this year?” 🎙️Zinedine Zidane: “If you're asking who I would vote for based on the season, I could say Mbappé, Dembélé or Michael Olise. They are incredible players, and all three deserve to be in the conversation. “But if you're asking me who truly deserves it after everything we've witnessed this year, my answer is Lionel Messi. What Messi did at the 2026 World Cup, at 39 years old, was beyond incredible. He carried an entire nation on his shoulders, accepted the pressure and continued delivering when millions of people were looking towards him. “People talk about age as if greatness has an expiry date. Messi keeps reminding us that football is about much more than physical ability. His intelligence, vision, technique and understanding of the game remain extraordinary. “And honestly, I believe Messi was robbed of the Best Player of the Tournament award. “I'm not disrespecting whoever received it, but when you consider Messi's influence, his leadership and everything he contributed to Argentina, I struggle to understand how anyone could overlook him. “What more did people want from a 39-year-old player? Must he score every goal and create every chance himself before we acknowledge his greatness? “Mbappé, Dembélé and Olise have all been fantastic, and I'm not taking anything away from them. But there is a difference between having an outstanding season and producing a World Cup campaign that becomes part of football history. If I'm voting based on the season, I can debate the names. But if I'm recognising the greatness Messi showed at that World Cup, I choose Lionel Messi. “One day, we will look back and understand how fortunate we were to witness his career. Even at 39, when people thought his greatest chapters were behind him, he gave us another reason to admire him. Messi wasn't asking football to remember his greatness. He was reminding the world why it had never forgotten it.”
🚨🎙️ Sir Alex Ferguson on Cristiano Ronaldo calling himself the greatest of all time: Reporter: “Sir Alex, what do you think about Ronaldo repeatedly calling himself the greatest footballer of all time?” Ferguson: “Cristiano is one of the greatest players football has ever seen. Nobody can take that away from him. I worked with that boy, I know his mentality, and I know how badly he wants to be the best. He will always be one of my favorite players. “But what I don’t understand is why he keeps giving interviews to campaign for himself. Cristiano, you have achieved so much in football. Why do you need to keep telling the world that you are the greatest? If you are truly what you believe you are, leave that decision to the people. “When you talk about individual brilliance, you talk about Messi. Individual awards? Messi. Trophies and influence on the game? ..Messi has an incredible case there too. Look at what that man has achieved throughout his career. You cannot ignore that simply because you prefer somebody else. “And listen, I coached Cristiano. I know how competitive he is and how obsessed he is with being the best. But Messi is different. We have had legends like Pelé and Maradona who helped shape football history. You cannot just keep declaring yourself above everybody else without showing respect for the legends who came before you. “Honestly, I find it disappointing because I expect more maturity from Cristiano. You don’t earn respect by constantly demanding it. Sometimes, it comes across as childish, and I don’t think that does justice to the legacy he has built. “Look at Messi. You can argue that he is the greatest ever. You can point to his records, his trophies, his individual awards and the way he influences a game. Yet he doesn’t spend his time campaigning for that title. He lets his football do the talking. “Cristiano should be protecting the legacy he has worked so hard to build, not creating unnecessary arguments about who is greater than whom. If you are truly great, you don’t need to diminish other legends to prove your worth. “I know what Cristiano has given football, and I will always have enormous respect for him. But greatness isn’t just about what you say about yourself. It’s about what you achieve and how history remembers you. “If you believe you are the greatest, then let the people decide. You don’t have to campaign for a title that you believe your football has already earned you.”
@anno_anno2 Så himla mycket ilska. Onödigt.
It’s either you’re selfish or selfless, you can’t be both H@ppy N€w Week
