I don’t care what you thought about Halo 5, it *objectively* got more content regularly and even the cosmetics, while often filler, we’re still totally possible to get for free. Halo infinite is more shop that service right now, and there’s no shame in being peeved over that.

I saw a video today from one popular #Halo YouTuber and I'm actually seething. Not necessarily by what they said (though I don't agree with them) but by the fact that the truth isn't out there. And probably never will be.
One of the hardest things in #GameDev is seeing the community receive an end product badly, and then making mega inaccurate assumptions about the dev process. But you as a dev know the whole truth and have to bite your tongue.
Hard agree here with the factor of new maps and also not giving the community a platform to allow us to vote these maps in. We need a community Ranked workshop playlist that is permanent and rotates forge maps monthly. Let the community vote maps in.

So yesterday we got a gray remake for ranked, and an underbaked "dev" forge map, far below the quality standards for community maps. And forge and the forge community is getting shit on for decisions out of our control. Sick.
@Frenchyssss I'm not attacking ASTRO here. It's his artistic choice, it's the 343 pro team that chose that map and requested no visual changes that's to blame. And I don't think anythings going to change no matter how much we hold hands and sing kumbaya. 343 will just do whatever they want.
