I said I am a Muslim before being a Yoruba, and you people are getting angry. What exactly is the color of your problem? Being Yoruba is an accident of birth. I did not fill out an application form to be born into this ethnicity; it is simply a matter of geography and genetics decreed by Allah. It is a temporary, earthly reality. Islam, however, is a conscious submission to the Creator. It is the very purpose of human existence and the only identity that holds weight on the Day of Judgement. Allah explicitly states in the Quran (Surah Al-Hujurat 49:13) that He made us into nations and tribes simply so we may know one another—not so that we elevate tribalism (Asabiyyah) above His laws. If prioritizing my eternal faith and submission to Allah over a biological accident triggers you, then your scale of priorities is completely upside down. My heritage is Yoruba, and I am proud of it, but my ultimate allegiance is to my Creator. Deal with it.

The beauty of teaching your children basics of the religion. May Allaah preserve them all upon goodness.

Never seen something like this😍 Wallahi, I couldn’t believe my ears. He recites just like Sudais. We may have different skin colors, but Islam unites our hearts. Allahu Akbar❤️

You did not know this, and it will change how you see the planet. The Amazon rainforest is fed by the Sahara desert. Every year, roughly 27 million tonnes of dust lift off the Sahara, ride the winds across the entire Atlantic Ocean, and settle over South America. Hidden in that dust is phosphorus, the exact nutrient the Amazon's soils lose to rain each year. Much of it comes from a single ancient dried lake bed in Chad, packed with the remains of microorganisms that died thousands of years ago. So the largest rainforest on earth is quietly fertilised by the largest hot desert on earth, thousands of miles away, in near-perfect balance. The dead lake feeds the living forest. The desert feeds the jungle. Nothing on this planet stands alone. Sit with that the next time you think a place, or a person, or a season of your life is useless. Even a desert is quietly keeping a rainforest alive. You never fully know what your dry season is feeding somewhere down the line.

As soon as you die, you become a “body.” “Bring the body.” “Lower the body into the grave.” “Take the body to the graveyard.” The name you spent your life trying to impress people with will no longer matter. So live to impress Allah, not creation. Your wealth, status, looks and followers will be left behind. Only your deeds will go with you. 🤍

To the world you may be a billionaire, celebrity, or an icon but to the angel of death, you are just another name on the list. Repent immediately.

I don’t know why many of you are surprised when you hear about alien abductions. We hear these "alien" stories and think they belong to Hollywood? Common! They are real. There is a narration in Imam Al-Bayhaqi’s Dala’il al-Nubuwwah about a man from the Ansar. He went out for Isha prayer during the time of Umar ibn al-Khattab and just... vanished. He didn't come back for four years. When he finally reappeared, he told Umar that the Jinn had snatched him away. Yes, jinn snatched him away. And this why I will tell the types that are capable of snatching a human being away from the physical world. 1. The first one are the Marid. These are the heavyweights. They are rebellious, incredibly strong such that they can physically manipulate things. From the wordings of the Hadith I cited earlier, the man was "carried away swiftly." This the work of a Marid. They operate on a frequency that can pull a human out of our physical space. 2. We have the Ghul. These are the ones that hang out in desolate places, the outskirts of town, or dark paths. They are the masters of trickery and shape-shifting. The trickiest type in this group are the Si’lat. They don’t attack like Marid, they lure you. They make you think you’re following a light or a person until you’re too far gone to find your way back. But one thing is common to them: These are almost always the disbelieving Jinns (Kuffar). Why do I say so? In the Hadith, the man said he was a captive of these disbelievers until a group of Muslim Jinn raided them, won the battle, and asked him: "Who are you? If you're a Muslim, we will return you." Again, let me also chip in the reality of our time differences. Four years. To us, four years is a lifetime of waiting. For a person that has been snatched, he was just... there. Time doesn't move the same way once you leave our dimension. Whether it’s a physical "rip" in space or a shift in consciousness, their realm doesn't follow our clock. You might think you’ve been gone for an hour, but your family has already held your funeral. How do you then protect yourself? Protection is simpler than people think, but it requires consistency. 1. Before leaving your house, always say the Adhkar. Say: “Bismillahi, tawakkaltu ‘alallah, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.” 2. Don’t forget to say Bismillahi before you eat especially beans. In the Hadith, the man said their food was beans and anything "over which the name of Allah was not mentioned." When you say Bismillah, you're literally putting a barrier between your energy and theirs. 3. The man was taken at Isha. There's a reason the Prophet (peace be upon him) told us to bring the children inside at Maghrib and to be cautious during the transition of light. That's when their "shift" begins. Be careful! 4. Reciting Ayat al-Kursi. It’s the ultimate shield. It does not only protect your mind; it secures your physical space. Don't be scared, just be aware. The unseen is only scary when you don't have the map to navigate it. Allah knows best.

It is possible for a Jinn to ambush you, kidnap you, such that you will not be found anywhere on earth, and still come back alive.

Never go to the cemetery by 3 am, not even for $10k. Because you will have to contend with two types of hostile Jinn that make the graveyard their permanent base of operations: The Ghol and Al-Awar. They can harm you in ways money cannot fix. They are always at their peak at this hour. They are so wicked that they can cause you severe hallucinations, or they can fix a permanent attachment to your shadow, or completely possess your body. $10k won’t fix this. Abeg, don’t try it o 😂 Allah knows best.

Something still marvels me about the Quran to this day. I wonder how a book could be so audacious. Imagine opening a book, and the first line you hit is: ذلك الكتاب لا ريب فيه "This is the Book about which there is no doubt." We all know that when a human writes, we almost always start with an apology in the preface. We say we tried our best, but any mistakes are ours. The Quran does the exact opposite of that. It did not offer a disclaimer. It offered a finality. It says: there is no mistake, nor doubt about my authenticity. Anything you read and find in me, rest assured, it is nothing but the truth. The shutdown of the possibility of error before a single story is even told is the ultimate audacious power move. For the past 1440+ years since the Quran was sent down, NO ONE has been able to find a mistake. They’ve only been running in circles. This is what gives me audacity. It gives me confidence in my ability to recite the Quran without fear anywhere. May the Almighty make you and me from the people of the Quran 🙏👏🏿
