this is insane someone broke into a government database holding 8.8 million people's records. the password was "123456". denmark's national population registry got exposed after a hacker logged into an account at pays aps, an it company with legitimate access to the system. at least three accounts at the company allegedly shared that same password, including an admin account. names, home addresses and personal id numbers of both living and deceased danes are now out there. authorities have confirmed it. your data is sitting behind someone else's laziness. governments, private firms, doesn't matter.
