Every single patient we've had with covid who have been unvaccinated have quickly changed their mind and said how wrong they were. Every single one. Correction: every single one that survived.

@little_emmabird @kathryniveyy It is referring to Ignorance as the luxury, especially when it comes to the seriousness and harsh realities of Covid. I’ve had this thought many times prior to this post. No need to respond to the post in a way that fabricates a false meaning.

Just found myself looking ahead at the weather, seeing next Saturday’s predicted high of 23, and getting excited about it. Lol it is ridiculously cold and if I didn’t have a dog I wouldn’t have gone outside for the past 5 days.

@ememzemily That’d be your bodies immune response making your defense against actual covid, only lasts a day or maybe 2😊 you got this!

This is a real look into my patients lives battling covid. Tomorrow I go back to work for Christmas weekend, I have been off a few days & although it has been a nice break.. tomorrow I find out which of my patients did not survive from then to now. Tomorrow will be hard.

Our Father, who art in heaven. Hallowed be thy name... He was admitted for monitoring but we know how it goes. With the high flow nasal oxygen and the mask his oxygen levels were still only in the 80s. "Try to lay on your stomach for as long as you can tolerate, I'll be back."

On the bright side, in Minnesota we can buy groceries and not have to worry about going directly home to put them in our freezer right away 🤷🏼‍♀️

BREAKING: Study finds that only 6% of people who are ‘shot and killed’ actually die from being shot. 94% have underlying health problems.

As I'm leaving the unit I bump into my co-worker taking off her N95. "How was your shifts?" I ask her. "So busy! You were lucky you were not in a COVID bay" I feel tears burning my eyes. Every bay is COVID bay. Every bay. Every day.
