A lot of healing work involves separation from ego & identity to work out a new way forward. But after enough of that work, it seems there's also a beautiful return to form. Where you realize your underlying instincts were always you. Now you just know how to manage & love them.
@HeidiPriebe1 To expect a certain outcome is setting up for failure. What if let life happen and then take that piece of puzzle and see how it fits ... WDYT?
@HeidiPriebe1 And some healing work is all about building up the sense of self and identity to recover creativity/vitality/zest for life/reconnect to desires (kohut/self-psychology healing of narcissistic wounds to self)

@HeidiPriebe1 Hi Heidi! In one of your more recent videos (forgive me I can’t remember which one, I love them all 😂💜) you said something along the lines if you’re someone with toxic shame then your focus shouldn’t as much on self esteem but on developing dignity. I’ve been pondering that
@HeidiPriebe1 100%. That is one reason I like the concept of unfolding vs changing or improving. Everything u need is already within u. You are just becoming more you or self led
