Watching my students use technology is fascinating. So many of them are so accustomed to having all of their tech, like their phones, do all the work for them that when something goes wrong they don’t even know how to start the process of problem solving.
I probably hear “my computer is broken” about 5 times a day. And all they need to do to fix it is either restart the Wi-Fi or close down a non responding application.
@HeyListenGames We had no WiFi this morning...it was craziness. They could access texting & games & videos on their phones, but, oddly enough, not the work. And of course, asking about it every 5 minutes like I am the one in charge of the WiFi setup.
@HeyListenGames First day back from February break. I must have said “Turn it off and turn it back on” a dozen times today.
