If you don’t know enough about mental health to know that depression and sadness aren’t the same thing, then stfu about whether or not someone should take antidepressants. I don’t take antidepressants because I’m “sad”, I take them because I wanted to fucking kill myself.

I’m astounded that you typed this out and hit “tweet.” Blaming black people for their oppression is not a good look, and especially ignores a large amount of -easily googleable- context. Ignoring that voter suppression exists, and targets communities of colors at large,
