Your alarming Friday update on the #FAFSA completion crisis (courtesy of @NCANetwork): As of March 29, 1.45 million high school seniors submitted Free App for Federal Student Aid. That's about 540,000 fewer than a year ago. That's down 27 percent. Very, very worrisome.

Weekly progress in closing the gap since the revised FAFSA went "live" at the end of December has been achingly slow. We need massive mobilization. "College access" is just empty words unless potential students get a clear readout on their financial aid eligibility.
@HigherEdNick @Clark2College @NCANetwork Genuine question. If the enrollment cliff is already starting, what's the total pool of students we're expecting to complete the FAFSA? Is the pool smaller than last year?
