Much of the "circulating supply" is just paper numbers; actual liquid supply is far lower than thought

Are you accounting for the billions and tens of billions of XRP that are about to be deployed/locked up? Do you understand that Ripple will eventually complete their distribution of XRP and be done selling? People are about to find out the hard way that the "circulating supply"

I’m sure debt sustainability has absolutely nothing to do with any of this... France is paying its highest yield premium over Germany in 15 years. Germany is fighting over tax hikes to contain its widening budget gap. And Ray Dalio warns that China and Japan may pull back from US Treasuries. Of course, the global economy still has an enormous amount of wealth. But you can have all the assets in the world; if the other side of the balance sheet increasingly consists of debt concentrated with governments, debt sustainability becomes a bigger and bigger problem. Ultimately, that raises a very simple question: who is willing to finance all that debt? The question of debt sustainability fundamentally changes the role of bonds in an investment portfolio. The old assumption that government bonds provide stability, diversification and protection when equities fall can no longer be taken for granted. More debt means more volatility, a greater risk that bonds and equities fall at the same time, and, if keeping that debt sustainable comes with structurally higher inflation, as I expect, less protection of purchasing power. This fundamentally changes the role of bonds in an investment portfolio. In my book The Great Rebalancing, I explain why aging populations and endless debt accumulation require a fundamental rethink of how we invest and protect our wealth, and why scarce assets should play a much bigger role. Want to read it? You can find it here: greatrebalancing.com In a world full of debt, invest in scarcity.

BTC can still be structurally bullish and pull back first. Those two things aren’t mutually exclusive.

This data is really interesting 😂 People used to think that blockchain was just a small experiment in internet finance, but now it is beginning to intersect with the traditional financial market in terms of transaction activity.

$7B+ has traded on @DecibelTrade. $1B+ of it through Builder Codes, which let any app route order flow into the same orderbook for a share of the fees. An onchain orderbook is what makes that composable: one engine, many front ends. Built on @Aptos, incubated by Aptos Labs.

2,722 downloads of DigiByte Core 9.26.5! Not wallets opened. Not accounts created. Full nodes, each one checking every block against the rules independently and answering to nobody. It is also the only way to mint DigiDollar, so every one of those is someone who can lock their own $DGB and create DD without asking anyone.
