@Jenni_Gregory4 So many lovely stories about dads here.🥰 The one that came to mind for me was the great aunt who married 3 of my grandfather's 9 brothers. (WW1)
@Jenni_Gregory4 Hi Jenni and everyone. We had a lovely family wedding this weekend. It's a bank hol and traditional time to get summer veg in the garden so - wedding 1, garden 1, writing 0.
@MarianJMyers I once got feedback telling me there was no one nice in my story 😄 so that was a good lesson. I'm now happy to write unlikeable characters but make sure there's a balance. Everyone enjoys a baddie but there has to be a sympathetic character to get behind too.
@MarianJMyers I wrote local travel pieces for a couple of years and enjoyed the different styles but now I just (try to) write for TPF. I still like to try different genres but stick to one at a time.
@MarianJMyers Hi all, I'm working on a couple of pieces which are all the wrong season but will come around. Meanwhile I've just finished a shawl for my granddaughter (expected Jan) and need to show off
@SJPfiction I'd like to be a daisy, any kind. But let me vent for a moment - I loathe and detest buttercups!! So invasive and hard to deal with. Thank you. I'm off to dig some up.
@SJPfiction Another question to make me think. I love my green time but once again I'm afraid I'm quite poor about including the environment in my stories. Thanks for the prompt, Sara
@SJPfiction I'm turning over a few ideas and will definitely get round to making a start on writing very soon 😄. Most unusal setting I've used was NZ's famed Pink and White Terraces but TPF didn't bite.
