@MikeDrucker Dune is set thousands of years into our future in a fictional setting based around real locations. Arrakis is supposed to be in orbit around the star Canopus. Which is 310 lightyears from Earth. So Earth exists in the Dune universe. It's just not the centre of humanity anymore.
