How good is Australia? Where the elected representatives of parliament, quite clearly, couldn’t give a flying fuck about paying, even a modicum of attention, to the business of running the country. They aren’t even pretending anymore.

So the ALP has neglected it and the LNP won’t pork barrel it.... Simple solution - if you’re voting in the EM bi-election, do your research and find a minor party (there are plenty of them) with decent policies and vote for them. Do not touch the ALP or LNP with a barge pole.
