#BOTSWANA Known originally as BECHUANALAND before the 1885 "ownership" by Britain who gave it the current name which translates to "LAND OF THE TSWANA". "Botswana" is the plural while "Motwana" is the singular.

#BELGIUM BELGIUM got it's name from the "Belgae" tribes which lived in the northern part "Gaul" around the 3rd century. Linguistic experts hold that the root words "Belg" and "Bolg" mean "to swell with anger".
#BOSNIA_And_HERZEGOVINA It is believed that BOSNIA is from the River Bosna which courses through the Bosnian heartland while HERZEGOVINA (Herzog's Land) is from the German word for "Duke", a title in respect of the Bosnian magnate Stjepan Vukčić Kosača.
#ARUBA This is one country with multiple theories about the origin of its name. Some say it is "Oro Hubo" which means "There Was Gold" in Spanish while in Island Carib; it is "Oruba" or "Ora Ouba" for "Well Placed" or "Shell Island" respectively.
Originally spelt "LATVIJA", the name of ancient Latgalians which together with Couronians, Selonians and Semigallians and Finnic Livonians form the ethnic core of of modern LATVIA.

#COLOMBIA Named after the navigator Christopher Columbus. COLOMBIA, Together with Ecuador, Panama and Venezuela were part of what used to be called "Gran Columbia", they broke away from Spain and became independent in 1819. Ecuador and Venezuela broke away in 1830.
#COMOROS This Island nation got it's name from "Qamar", the Arabic word for "moon".
#GHANA Initially called Gold Coast but changed to GHANA meaning "Strong Warrior", a title accorded Kings of the medieval Ghana Empire in West Africa, 100s KM away from the Republic of Ghana and currently in modern-day Republic of Mali, Senegal, parts of Mauritania and Guinea.
#ANGUILLA "Eel" in Italian is called ANGUILLA and this Caribbean Island was so named because it looks like a snake which is known as ANGUILLA in Latin hence the Island is also called the Snake Island.
#BHUTAN The etymology of BHUTAN is blurry but highly likely to be a derivative of "Böd" which means Tibet and depicts it's geographical location at the "End Of Tibet" since it is located at the Southern extreme of the Tibetan Plateau. Note : 2nd frame is what it is.
#SWITZERLAND Named after one of its original cantons (provinces) of SCHWYZ. By 1291, 2 other cantons of URI and UNTERWALDEN banded to create the Eternal League. The nation grew by adding more cantons over the years.
