I've seen some people on TikTok claiming that Myanmar and Thai cultures are similar because King Bayinnaung conquered Thailand. It's honestly mind-boggling how they think! King Bayinnaung was from the Toungoo Dynasty, but the traditional attire they are copying is actually from the Konbaung Dynasty. I’m just speechless at their lack of logic. The Nyaungyan Dynasty lies right between the Toungoo and Konbaung eras. GMMTV ACCOUNTABILITY #RespectMyanmarCulture #CreditOurHeritage

Shame on GMMTV for showing zero professional ethics. Using Myanmar traditional clothing without credit is unacceptable, but refusing to apologize or address the issue is even worse. Unacceptable behavior from a major entertainment company! GMMTV Accountability #RespectMyanmarCulture #CreditOurHeritage

Our traditional attire is more than just clothing. It represents our history, our culture, our identity, and the legacy passed down through generations. If we don’t stand up for our own heritage, who will? Dear Myanmar people, let’s take pride in our culture, protect our heritage, and make our cultural identity known to the world. Our heritage deserves to be recognized, respected, and preserved. 🇲🇲❤️ We Demand Action from GMMTV #RespectMyanmarCulture #ScarletHeartTH
