@XH_Lee23 Americans cities could have this too if activists would stop framing every city improvement as racist and we accepted that some people are just going to naturally be poor.

@komal_uk01 One company cares about design and optimization and the other is overrun with Indian MBA yes-men who are only concerned with doing the needful.

@komal_uk01 He's a business guy. In the old days the leader of a technical company would typically be a technical person but the MBAs of the world have poisoned the well.

@KoaWeb3 Yes if housing/food prices were reflective of reality and not wide-scale wealth extraction.

@wanerfu Deploy a bunch of these in cities to deal with the anti-social and watch life get dramatically better overnight.

@DorianDevelops We exist. We're just solving the problems that take years and don't show off at every demo day.

@echoesofworld I guess I should learn Chinese.

@Playteaux1 Jail.

@JFinnyc San Francisco could look like this if our leaders actually cared about solving problems and not just appeasing a bunch of entitled baby boomers.

Move to San Francisco and take a loan for your life style expenses. Trust me it will change your life.

@komal_uk01 ssh and a prayer.

@gaelmelen I need to visit sometime.

@freemanjiangg America could have this if we pulled our heads out of our asses and accepted that life is about constant change. Instead we are letting China eat our lunch and damnit they earned every calorie.

@sflorimm C.

@xPraveen07 It literally doesn’t matter. Let people use the tools they like and only focus on the outcomes. Opinions about development environments are about as useful as criticizing a construction worker’s brand of hammer.

@Officially_Dev_ lol no.

@komal_uk01 Vibe coders are shipping solved problems more effectively. Building CRUD apps that talk to external APIs has been a solved problem for 20 years. Real innovation that will drive humans forward is still a vast unexplored expanse and no Elon's rocket car isn't it.

@itsmeMehak_ Both are problems of scale and optimization but through different mediums. One can be automated by a bunch of matrix multiplication at hyperscale but the other requires hands in the earth.

You can build a web app in TypeScript? Cool, I'm honestly happy for you. That isn't computer science though.

Real computer science is about solving problems that would be impossible for humans on their own. It isn't about finding a 10% performance improvement but rather 100,000%. It is about taking problems that would take hundreds of years and solving them in an afternoon.
