Trump mentions everything, and posts constantly on Truth Social, but he has yet to say anything about the Baltimore bridge collapse tragedy. Republican Strategist Scott Reed: “It’s a little weird. It was a national tragedy, it’s going to cost $2 billion, it’s going to screw up a lot of people’s lives and impact goods traveling around the world. At a minimum, express sympathy toward the poor six men that died that were doing their jobs on the midnight shift, keeping commerce flowing.” The six men were all immigrants from Latin America.
@MikeSington Trump was busy giving his respects to the fallen NYPD officer, spending time with his family, while Biden went to a fundraiser.
@Stefild @MikeSington Yes, a long-planned fundraiser with all the complicated logistics for having a sitting president plus 2 formers…while Trump exploited a family’s tragedy turning it into a photo op and campaign speech.
@ICRB5 @Stefild @MikeSington They didn't actually want biden there they just wanted to lament that he didn't go. Had he gone they would have said "how dare he try to go to the funeral"
@ICRB5 @Stefild @MikeSington Exploited? Like eating fried chicken with a black family? Not the same thing
