@LesbosQuasar F de fragata, 10 porque es la 10ª serie de fragatas de la Armada, 1 porque es el primer buque de su clase. Igual que no existen el año 0 o el siglo 0, no hay buque 0. En cuanto a los auxiliares, sí, como los patrulleros, moneda al aire.

@Martin15129757 @RG_CajonDeArena Sobre el papel el Fujian con J35 “5ª”es mucho mejor que el CdG con sus Rafale, un 055 e incluso un 052D son más potentes que un Horizon o una FREMM, y tienen muchos más de cada uno, pero ¿Pueden el Fujian o Shandong desplegarse en el Mediterráneo durante meses? ¿En el Atl. Norte?

@Roberto_Montesa @AnastasioH38171 No puedo citar fuente porque esto lo leí Dios sabe dónde y hace tiempo, pero *tengo entendido* que el Mk41 self-defence ya no se produce, principalmente porque nadie lo ha adquirido. En su nicho (CVN, LHA, LPD) se han terminado usando sistemas reutilizados como el Mk29.

@Roberto_Montesa No sé si no le estoy entendiendo, pero permítame que le corrija, han estado una media de 36 años y medio en servicio. El Rubis (dado de baja en el 22) y el Galerna entraron en servicio el mismo año. Eso sí, en el 93 se botó el último Rubis, y en el 98 se empezó con los Barracuda

In the same way, if Airbus was asked it could potentially re-start Barracuda production, but it makes no sense either, that’s why they are developing the new UCAV Loyal Wingman for FCAS.

@ErosNlght @PatAdnet @AirbusDefence The technical data is not lost, but rather the human experience, most of the engineers involved in 2006 are now probably retired. Also, technology has advanced greatly in the last 20 years, and the development of Barracuda has (supposedly) helped develop EuroMALE and SIRTAP

@PatAdnet @AirbusDefence -Program was cancelled due to 2008, know-how was probably lost. Lack of money and political will, basically (same as nEURon) -Probably Hurjet and/or TAI KAAN lmao -2006, so of course not Not defending Airbus, but they are far from copycats, and its issues are mainly political.
