@OfficiallyJace The gap between top basketball teams and “Cinderella” team is much smaller in basketball than in football. You can’t have Jack Gohlke catch fire and hit 10 3pts to help upset a team. The equivalent of that will likely never happen in football. individuals have less of an impact

@DigginBrigham Based on your logic 12 team playoff makes every reg season game matter a lot for the Big 12 because you can’t lose one game. 24 teams now allows Bug 12 teams to lose more (making the reg season less meaningless) and still make the playoff

@DigginBrigham I’m confused on the logic in this post. You argue changing to 24 teams would make reg season games matter more yet you say a reg season game wouldn’t have mattered as much had it been 24 teams last year.

@CFBTalkDaily He’s a good coach at that level of CFB. When he can get through 6 games and the toughest opponent he faces is 2nd place in conference USA. Not in the top conferences.

@prestonnwalshh It’s not just the losses it’s how we’re losing, being non competitive 2 weeks in a row. Mizzou might end up being good. SCar is not. We can accept losses this season bcuz we knew they were coming but yesterday performance was unacceptable.

@ufhelicopters We all knew teams were going to try and take away the run and make Philo beat us. Which Mizzou figured out and exposed. What we didn’t know was that Faulkner isn’t a high level OC if he can’t get the running game going.

@SportyMcSports OR Miami was ranked 10th because they didnt play in their conference championship because the ACC had the dumbest tie breaker in the history of sports hence why they changed it for this year. Had they played and likely won they would’ve been a 7/8 seed. Potentially even higher

@sandersism @J2sHeadband This is the main point ppl but ppl for 24 teams is avoiding. How many of us watched that 16 seed play for a spot in the NCAA tournament? Probably not a lot out side of their fan base because ppl don’t care until the playoffs.

@Aaron_Torres I’m really not understanding how ppl don’t get this point. The idea that a ton of ppl will be intrigued to watch a game for the battle for the 23rd seed makes no sense. How many ppl are tuning in to see who who battles it out for lower seeds in the NCAA tourney?

@TreyWallace I said it back when it started w/4 teams that the playoffs would ruin college football bcuz I knew it would never stay at 4 it would keep expanding bcuz of $ and we will strip away what made cfb fun and unique - Bowl games, rivalries, conference title games, etc.

@jpr561 @bihhhwhho Ppl are trying to compare the 2 of them using stats. Which isn’t useful in this situation since one person gets 1/3 of his teams targets. He stats will obviously be higher

@LAGovJeffLandry @AGAlanWilson @Georgia_AG I’m curious how they aren’t “NFL” players lol they were on NFL rosters and were paid. What more do you have to do to be considered a NFL player?
