IEDC oversight bill passes along with chaplains in schools and more. Today’s legislative roundup. indianacapitalchronicle.com/2024/02/02/sen…
@INCapChronicle Sad day for Indiana. Church and State should always be separate for the good of both sides.
@INCapChronicle And chaplains spoke out against this because they aren’t qualified counselors but yet republicans don’t listen. Also they don’t want to get sued for that secular advice.
@INCapChronicle Indiana info shows IEDC merged into CICP Indiana. Typical corrupt tax free foundation pushing corporate agendas & hiding its big money donors. @CICPIndiana, why did you donate to The Rand Corp?
@INCapChronicle @SpencerDeery Why is it so hard to find out about your background, including your own religious faith? If Hoosiers were informed of your religious faith, would they look at you differently.
@INCapChronicle This is so bad for our schools. This not what is needed. Very disgusted with our legislators.
@INCapChronicle Why do @GOP & MAGAs believe that Christianity is the only religion for our country? 1 of the reason the country was built is religious freedom. So, church cannot be used to guide schools, government, etc. Respect others’ religious beliefs!
@INCapChronicle This just feels so creepy…
@INCapChronicle Chaplains in schools helping children with difficult issues is not a threat.
@INCapChronicle Chaplains are not mandated reporters unless it involves suicide or homicide thoughts. This is irresponsible. Children seeking help from abuse will not know this and the abuse will continue.
