@BionicBiome_ Congrats on the 9,000! MW4 pulls on YouTube too: 12 DMZ long-form videos from 11 channels reached Most Popular since 20 Oct. The one that beat its own channel the most: "MW4 DMZ: 10 Things I Wish I Knew Sooner" by SiNisterFPS, 13.7x VPI (147,296 views as of 23 Oct), in Canada.

@GameJoker_ Our trailer trivia: the "Grand Theft Auto VI - Launch Trailer | PS5 Games" upload on PlayStation's channel did 30.8x VPI (1,808,170 views as of 23 Oct), first observed in Most Popular in Chile and Colombia. Of 24 GTA 6 videos we caught 20-23 Oct, only 7 beat their channel 2x.

@lisalebron29150 They matter in the charts YouTube itself keeps too: "LISA - Tarantino (Official Music Video)" sat in the Most Popular Music chart of 24 of the 34 countries we read on day one (23 Oct), UK and France included, with 35,313,625 views at our reading.

@Pirat_Nation JerryRigEverything's test wasn't in YouTube's Most Popular yet at our 23 Oct reading, but the Duo was everywhere: the biggest outlier so far is "iPhone Duo Review: 10,000 Folds Later..." by Tim Pan at 30.2x VPI, 763,136 views as of 23 Oct, charting in the US, UK and Canada.

@jacksfilms Scientific method intact. The Duo is YouTube's review genre of the week too: since 20 Oct we caught 120 iPhone Duo long-form videos from 111 channels in Most Popular, in all 34 countries we read. Only 29 beat their own channel 2x or more (to 23 Oct). Dog urine: untested.

@otoclip Now, since you publish in English. One month, 34 countries. Anime videos in English in Most Popular: 2, both in the Philippines. None in the US, UK, Canada, Australia: there anime gets in only via games (16 there, 55 worldwide). While in Spanish, Portuguese, French: a full 11!

@otoclip Then let's measure it: we read Japan's Most Popular charts every day. This week we'll pull which languages sit in them and post it here. If the anime-slang crowd in Japan is a real group, the chart will show the door.

@otoclip Your theory matches what YouTube's own charts show us. In Italy, half the News chart isn't in Italian: Sri Lankan and Bangladeshi newsrooms, watched by people who moved there. Residents who aren't locals move charts. Your right 1,000 may already be in Japan.
