A5. Marathas of Bhonsle Dynasty came to Thanjavur in 17th Century. Their biggest contribution to TN food is Sambhar. It was Aamti-gone-wrong, cooked by Sambhaji, son of Shivaji, in absence of a cook. #ITBC

@TheTravelure @ITBChat @lakshmisharath Since it's a state like #jharkhand which has comparatively less known heritage spots so it was something which caught on. So much so that I got the opportunity to officially document more such sites #ITBC
