Yes but without Christians turning modern hospitals into an institution for charitable care AND the donations that went to hospitals so they can further advance in research and medicine. Hospitals would probably not be where they are at on the scale they are today. Sure donations and volunteers separate from the faith may have also taken part in this. But a lot of society doesn’t know of this information. And the church does much more today with donations and volunteers from the church: - Emergency disaster relief - clean water and food provisions to those in need. - sheltering and feeding the homeless - providing education in countries where it is not easily accessible through their own government. The church offers to the world. You can be happy being an atheist, but it’s also worth mentioning that Christians do and have always played a key part in helping humanity. To be a Christian is taking the duty to help those in need. And if you are atheist and still find your own morals to be for humanity, that’s even better.

This scene is why Breaking Bad is the greatest. Jesse tries to cope with his guilt over murdering a person by confessing to killing a “problem dog.” He’s afraid of facing the consequences of his actions, but even more afraid of living in a meaningless universe where he can commit acts of evil and not be punished. He’s grappling with the deeply human desire for justice and meaning, and all the group leader can do is offer modern “self-acceptance” therapeutic cliches in response which Jesse recognizes as utterly empty and useless. A scene straight out of a Dostoevsky novel. Jesse’s whole arc towards the end of the show is basically Raskolnikov in Crime and Punishment. Brilliant stuff.

People are upset by the systemic displacement and replacement of Americans, specifically white men, with foreigners across every major institution in America. That it is happening in a state like Texas makes it even more stark. In 2005, 28% of undergrads at the University of Texas were white men. As of year, that number was 12%. In 2005, less than 4% of UT undergrads were international students. That number now exceeds 30%. And it’s not just happening at universities. Entire Texas cities are being taken over. From Frisco, to Irving, to Coppell, entire school districts look more like New Delhi than they do New Braunfels. That this has happened over the same time period in which Americans, particularly white males, have been systemically replaced by H-1Bs and locked out of the workforce, is no coincidence. You know this, of course, but for some reason your shtick is pretending to not know things in the douchiest way possible. But if Austin or Dallas were instead Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, and in just 20 years flagship universities and entire school districts there suddenly had more Gazans or Pakistanis or Egyptians than Israelis, I imagine you’d immediately see the problem.

The Clancey trial has done more to show the distinction between modern male and modern female virtues than any other single event in recent memory. Modern women have become incompetent, immoral, and driven heavily by hatred of accountability.
