There are many black kids with higher MCAT scores who don’t make it in either. You don’t have access to the entire application.

@ErbunnNinja @DiRico_Rants This example is why there’s DEI. Lots of people, like the OP see a black pilot and quickly assume they’re incompetent. DEI forces you to look beyond your unconscious bias to pick a silver haired pilot, when a black woman, who’s just as or more qualified, is in the applicant pool.

@FinPlanKaluAja1 I wasn’t insinuating that you could get a credit card for a minor (banks can’t legally contract directly with them). ADDING them as an “authorized user”, however, doesn’t require a credit pull. Only the main account holder, who is legally responsible, gets a credit pull.

@akintollgate What’s your own with abroad people? I came here as an adult, as did 70% of the people I know. The other 30% emigrated WITH their parents as kids when they won green cards. The group you’re referring to is in the minority. We want our country to work!
