if I openly communicate the ways that your actions & words have hurt me & you choose to ignore my truth bc it challenges you, then I won't feel bad for removing you. I don't have time for immaturity, manipulation, projection or passive behavior, believe that!

A lot of you were never taught healthy communication. You were brought up to scold another, never look for a solution, never speak with kindness and compassion when a mistake was made that can be worked on. You feel any criticism on your actions is a personal attack because you were taught to identify with your actions. That is why you deflect when it is not your turn to speak. That is why accountability eludes you. And that is why some people don’t want to deal with you.

I think there's a point in your healing journey where you stop trying to convince other people to do the right thing, you just observe their choices, understand their character, and decide what you're going to allow in your life.

People who lack the emotional intelligence to understand your depth will call you sensitive. They can only meet you as deeply as they've met themselves. Your sensitivity is not a weakness, but an emotional strength. Stop letting them project their lack onto you as your weakness.
