I’ve been trying to put my anger into words all day, but Brendan O’Neil of @spikedonline does a much better job than I
@IncMonocle @spikedonline Is he shadow banned? Can’t find him either by name or handle….
@IncMonocle @spikedonline I would just add that these same leaders left the doors of this country open to your enemies and not to people that want to be part of this country and integrate in British society
@IncMonocle @spikedonline The self-proclaimed contrarians at Spiked are masters of moral preening and utter uselessness
@IncMonocle @spikedonline Perfect summary of the state of UK politics. Weak men and women making poor decisions.
Poverty ZERO Basic Rate Income Tax for NHS frontline for at least 3 years. ZERO VAT on domestic energy Bills. Basic Rate threshold up from £12k to £20k taking 1.6M people out of tax. Reduce Fuel Duty so commuting and food deliveries are cheaper. Reduce VAT to 18 percent. Economic Crisis Make the QE debt into 75 year fixed yield Corona bonds. Stop paying banks interest on QE reserves. We're the only country doing that. A 3 percent online delivery tax to level the playing field with the high street. Grant a temporary Business Rate moratorium to new businesses. Energy Crisis Stop the windfall tax on energy producers, but give them responsibility for funding the energy price caps. Cut the Treasury out of the loop. Scrap the Green Levies and renewable subsidies which inflate our bills and distort the market. Exploit North Sea Oil so we stop importing energy while exporting jobs and carbon. I think that'll do for now ... It's a pity First Past the Post and people's misconceptions mean there's little chance any of these great ideas will see the light of day ... They'd make a great Opposition party though! @reformparty_uk
@IncMonocle @spikedonline …and take that bunch of Westminster bubble onanists, bringing themselves off about this on all news platforms, with you
@IncMonocle @spikedonline Well said that man...
