Both Japan and UK are on islands Both have vaccination rates over 70% One has a booster rate at almost 50% The other had the Olympics and high ventilation standards It's never this simple, but it's telling Response must be multilayered 1 layer must be ventilation and masking
There are many other factors that explain why these densely populated islands have had very different epidemics. It's never simple. It's just worth learning from different perspectives. Vaccines, ventilation, and variants.
@InfectiousDz Was #Ivermectin used in Japan? And obesity rare in Japan? I also believe the climate, sun, vitamin D play a role. The UK climate is cloudy, damp (like northern Italy,in winter); And in China,India, there's smog. Not much sunlight. These regions were all hit hard by covid.Japan different.
