The Angels do not have any scheduled media availability for tomorrow, and nothing currently on the calendar. Perry Minasian's status is still unclear. And no comment yet on the decision to change managers. It's expected that Minasian will speak this week, but no word on when.

Just putting it out there. One name to watch as a possible managerial candidate is Bud Black. Has strong #Angels ties, was on the '02 coaching staff. Just throwing it out there. Would rather him be the bench coach to mentor a new manager like Torii, Pujols, or Erstad...

If Wash was let go for performance-related reasons, how could you possibly justify keeping Perry Minasian as GM? Perry had the same performance as Wash did in 24 and 25 (arguably worse, since Wash was out for the last 88 games) AND had 3 awful seasons in 21, 22, and 23.

Typically the way it goes. Manager chooses his staff. Very curious to see if Perry is returning or not. Just because he made the phone calls doesnt mean anything other than him doing his job, which he is still employed to do, my guess would be he stays, but we'll see. #Angels

It’d be incredibly cold to make the GM tell people they’re being let go, only to fire the GM himself. I take this as a sign Perry is more likely than not back, but I also doubt Arte/Carpino would’ve been eager to have those conversations themselves. We’ll see.
