@MichDdev Just for the record, I deleted my personal account mentioned above. I'm same username on mastodon dot social but watch this tweet get deleted I guess. 🙃
And that's it. Instaud.io has now been fully shut down and all remaining content deleted. Thank you for all the love over the years. This is @MichDdev, signing off.

I've been made aware that "instaudio appears to be back". I let the domain name expire but someone registered it, and is now running a clone of the site. I have absolutely no involvement in this, and whomever is running this now is unrelated to the original instaudio.
Do not enter your old instaudio login details on the website now at instaud.io. Your old account has been deleted and you'd been giving your info to an unknown actor. If you already have, change your password if you've used it elsewhere.

In a few more hours, all uploads on Instaudio will go offline. Registered users can still access their own uploads until September 28th (and request an archive of all their uploads). Thank you for all the love. <3 instaud.io/shutting-down
Requests are processed one at a time, so if many people in quick succession request theirs, it can take a while. You will be notified via email when it's ready though. Once your archive is ready, it will be kept available for you to download for 24 hours before being deleted.
I've reached out to a few people who have asked about it, and several people have tried it out, so I may as well post about it here: Registered users can now request a data archive of all their uploads at instaud.io/user/export
For registered users, I'm working on a way to let you request a .ZIP archive of all (or a selection) of your uploads, so you can more easily get them downloaded before the site shuts down. Once launched, this will remain available until September 28th. x.com/MichDdev/statu…
Sad news: I've decided to begin shutting down Instaudio, starting by closing new uploads today. Read all about it here: instaud.io/shutting-down
@mcfp_2013 @discordapp Perhaps @Clyp_It could cover your needs?
@itspierceboi I intend to build something that generates a .zip with all your uploads and their titles/descriptions/spectrograms, I hope to have that up in the next few weeks.
@super3 I'm sorry, I've made the decision to move on and I'm not looking into transferring things.
@ReVulon Hi, I'm sorry but I don't think I can really extend it, already pushing it a bit with regards to the demands made by recording industry. Sorry.
@NiceWizardMusic :-) Spectrograms are where it's at!
@LoFiLime Hi, thank you for the support! Also, thanks for letting me know about the Buy Me A Coffee page; I've corrected that now. :)
@trendmatcher Dankjewel.
@iampaulpipar If you're talking about the text in the "save this link to delete later" box, that text is there to clarify that you should not share the link in that box with anyone. The link in the box is only for the uploader to keep.
