@drama_IIama That said, I was probably just the inverse of this and the Certified Adults around me just kindly turned a blind eye. 😂

@drama_IIama Same. I absolutely read smut and interacted about it with adults in fandom at 14 — and was just very careful to not to let slip anything that would give me away.

@winterwoman112 Absolutely! I did loads of research when writing them, including as much virtual touring as possible with the patchy Google streetview coverage in China, but it’s definitely more vivid to have now been for real.

Hello pocket friends! I’ve just come back from the most fantastic two weeks in China. In addition to just having an amazing time in general, I also went on a very specific to me tour of Beijing and Shanghai…

On a related note - how do people in China cope with just being AMBUSHED by WYB and XZ pictures at random as they move through life?!

Finally, in Peace & Love, Xiao Zhan took advantage of a rare day off filming to tour Old Town and Yiyuan Gardens.

@drama_IIama Previous years I have done a goodie basket with crackers, cheeses, chutneys, nuts, socks, a book, etc. anything small that I thought looked cute tucked into a cute receptacle. You can basically do all the shopping in one focused supermarket run!

@drama_IIama A Kindle gift certificate and a card with the titles of books I would have bought him written in the inside cover. He can’t manage normal sized, non-backlit text anymore so the certificate was more useful, but he appreciated the though lt that went into the suggestions.

I have just seen One and Only in cinema. What a romp! I expected to like it because I like Yibo and street dance. But I actually liked it in and of itself as a movie! Some clunky bits because, you know, propaganda stuff, but still!

@Ande Oh nooo! I am sorry. I hope you get to see it eventually — it is a really cute film and Yibo is acting (and dancing) his socks off.

Thank you @drama_IIama for very nicely coming along with me to watch what was absolutely a film entirely designed around my particular interests (/kinks)
