Integrated Studies @IntegratedUVU

This semester was hard. We at the Integrated Studies Department wanted to express how proud we are of you students. For those graduating, while it is unfortunate commencement has been rescheduled, we know you will go on to accomplish greatness. Stay in touch and stay healthy!

Next week is Finals! Create your own study guides, review material, and keep going to class. Really try to put all of your effort into school at this time. You got it!

We recognize that these are hard times for everyone. Even in quarantine, we can support each other. Please reach out to our counselors if you have any questions or concerns. Email: [email protected] [email protected]

While social distancing, it can be hard to separate your work (for those doing that from home), school, and personal life. Try keeping each activity in a different space when you can: no social media at the desk, no homework in the bed. Thank you for being a part of the solution!

Update: this semester's classes now have a "credit or no credit" option students can choose instead of traditional letter grades. Talk to your counselors before making a decision. Also all credit-bearing summer courses have been moved online. Watch your email for more info!

Fall Registration starts today for some. The table below shows when you are eligible to start adding classes.

Our very own Dr. Gregory Jackson received the Dean's Award of Excellence for Teaching in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. He is a excellent example of the faculty and staff that make the IS Department a great place to work, learn, and teach. Congrats Greg!

Fall Registration is nearly upon us; next week some students will be able to add classes. Start thinking about what you might take!

We hope everyone and their loved ones are doing okay. Please feel free to contact us at any time about school or other concerns. The uncertainty in these times can be worrying, but there is no need to panic.

Welcome back students! We hope you all had a nice break. Now let's get ready to push through the last of this semester!

UVU classes will be online after the break. We will post updates here on the situation. Right now, everyone should maintain rigorous self-care (hand washing, staying home when sick, etc.) and practice social distancing (avoid large gatherings and close proximity to others).

This semester is flying by for us too! Enjoy your hard-earned Spring Break Vacation everyone.

For many months, we having been planning and implementing changes to our website. A lot of hard work has gone into this process, and we are very proud of our co-workers who have put much time and effort into perfecting it! To check it, go to uvu.edu/is/
