Just cancelled my #WoW subscription. Uninstalled all my #Blizzard games (got a bit teary over #Overwatch) and uninstalled Battlenet. I don't believe for a second that the game community is, or should be, 'politically neutral' and I won't give them my $ until they apologise.

As always #nzgdc19 packed my brain with great stuff today. Every time is a level up! Feel like I only said hi to a tenth of the cool folks I wanted to see! I had to bail for the day but looking forward to seeing folks tomorrow! Love this community hard! (Well... Parts of it.😶)

Last year I went to a great talk at #nzgdc by @GameDevJeff on using maths to balance your game. At the time I was so glad I was in narrative because it meant the maths was someone else's problem. Now I'm a dev as well (??!) and these are 2 SEPARATE INCIDENTS from this month. :(

Step 1: the joy of walking to the printer while still listening to a podcast. Step 2: awkwardly make eye contact with someone else also waiting for printing. You can't pause your podcast remotely. Do you de-headphone just for shallow small talk? Do you not?? #workplacedrama!
