Yesterday at the White House, leaders from across our industry came together to sign the White House Accord on Super Intelligence.
The principle is simple: the companies building this technology have the primary responsibility to develop and deploy it safely, and to be accountable when they fall short.
The Accord reinforces that responsibility with robust internal controls, independent external evaluation, and board level oversight.
Super Intelligence offers an extraordinary opportunity to advance discovery, productivity, security, health, and prosperity.
The future of Super Intelligence will be shaped not only by what it can do, but by the confidence it earns. By building with ambition, rigor, and responsibility, we can help ensure this extraordinary technology expands opportunity and improves lives for generations to come.
When your mind turns against you, thinking harder won’t always save you,
Bratan.
Fear. Doubt. Anger. Overthinking.
Sometimes you need to stop listening to yourself and speak to someone higher.
Put down what you cannot control.
Pray.
Then take care of business.

Google has (allegedly) achieved RSI.
It’s a bigger deal than another model release.
RSI = recursive self-improvement.
The idea is an AI system helping build, train, or improve the next version of itself, and that loop repeating so each generation accelerates the one after it.
There is a difference between the weak version and the wild version. Weak RSI is already normal: AI writing code for AI infra, automated architecture search, Google’s own AlphaEvolve finding faster algorithms. Humans still review everything.
A stronger version is also happening at the big labs right now, just with less public detail: Anthropic has said Claude writes a large chunk of its own new code, Tibo said Astra helps shipping next things at OpenAI. Still human-gated at important decisions.
If this is true, model cycles that used to take years could take weeks. Google will be so back!
Before AI, I wrote Laravel's docs for humans... enough technical depth to teach without overwhelming you, documenting primarily common cases over edge cases. Progressively revealing complexity.
Post-AI, I'm adding more detail and examples than I would previously. Not excessively, but I'm writing for agents as my primary audience at this point.
I pretty much have the assumption human eyes will never touch these docs in the future.
I weirdly find this exciting - humans skip sections and miss details, but now I know every doc improvement I make directly translates to better AI-generated Laravel code.
Acum câțiva ani am pariat pe AI generativă. Pe atunci, mulți erau încă sceptici. Azi, unul dintre răspunsurile mele se numește ClipYo.

@jeffrey_way Dont overthink it, its just a moment that will pass as all moments do. Your value as a human being is much more then coding. Inteligence is over rated anyway. Cheers ✌️😎

Today I'm publishing a new essay, Policy on the AI Exponential. AI is progressing extremely fast—much faster than the policy process was built to handle. The essay lays out where I think the technology is now, and the action needed to close the gap: darioamodei.com/post/policy-on…
If you feel extreme AI anxiety related to your programming job security, I’ve found it helpful to remind myself that, even with the help of agents, it’s an *immense* amount of work to build, tweak, test, and deploy a new app.
