Never be ashamed to grow your family, despite the criticisms of others. Be it kin or be it friends, it’s ultimately your choice to love the family you grow.

My biggest struggle is my family. I’m 32, my brothers are 40+. I’m judged openly for having three kids at 3yrs, 1.5yrs and one on the way. They spaced theirs differently. They are rich, I’m not. Six figure earner but no where near their earnings. They openly berate my wife and I.

If you don’t have wood, your fire goes out. If you don’t talk about others, arguing dies down. - Proverbs 26:20

Fools vent their anger, but the wise quietly hold it back. Proverbs 29:11 As of late, I’ve begun to truly learn what this means, not just in theory but in practice.

Monday weigh in is 258.9 The scales shows progress but I chalk it up to water, the fact weigh in one was with a full outfit on, etc. it’s okay though, keep plugging!

The easiest way to hack your health is to take a walk after dinner. Improves digestion, energy, and blood sugar. Do this with family after dinner and it becomes a nice ritual.

@DearS_o_n Just got rid of mine after 10 years and 360k miles. Sad to see her go. My truck I hope lasts me 15+ years.

For real

I’m not here to inflate my numbers, I know my unhealthy style made for issues. It’s not impressive on any scale, but this is day two of running, did the telephone pole run again. 10 min a mile pace at 2.5 miles tonight. It’s not much but I’m proud.

Put my first my mile on my Brookes! A friend encouraged me to run telephone poles (run to one, walk to the next) and I loved it. I didn’t feel like crap after my run and it felt like I got more out of it. Cant wait for tomorrow!

The healthy meals begin. 6 oz of sugar free bbq pork, 6oz of green beans, and 4oz of sweet potato.

Black coffee, a prayer, and some quality time with my family this Saturday morning.

I’m at my all time heaviest with 264.2. I said this account was for accountability, so weekly weigh in’s and hard work will help me track my progress. It’s a journey I need to have happen if I’m going to be around for my family.

Today’s goal: get moving, weigh the food, and pray. Iced black coffee, fruit, and one chicken sausage to start the day.

It’s okay to love too.

I want to leave a financial legacy for them as well, and be healthy enough to be around for my children, grand children, and above all else not be a burden. Today, I started simple, I cleaned up my diet. I’m weighing food and keeping a calorie range of 1500 to 1800.

It’s my first day with this account. The truth is, it’s an accountability tool for my self. My goals are simple, be a great father. I want to take my children swimming at the public pool in confidence, walk with my family and know I can protect them.
