The surprising bit of education is that we learn so many subjects but never learned anything on how to manage our emotions and finance. The irony is we spent the rest of our life learning these two till we go back to clay. Who is to be blamed ?

I liked this line - “We do not acknowledge allegiance to any human government. We recognize but one King and Lawgiver, one Judge and Ruler of mankind. Our country is the world, our countrymen are all mankind. We love the land of our nativity only as we love all other lands”

When I was walking back home, I realized the purpose of education missing as I had to witness the rage in people who have a lot of degrees hung on their wall and yet being ready to tight their fist on the first count and be abusive. I wonder is this what education all about!

This is what I miss seeing today - “To focus on the task in hand for what it is, while remembering that our purpose is to be a good human being and speak, act with kindness, modesty, sincerity and see our actions are just” - Is it too much to ask?

The perfect caption would “I am at a point in life that I don’t care about anything coz I have seen it all”

"A calm and modest life brings more happiness than the pursuit of success combined with constant restlessness." This is so true, yet we just read and forget about it, because we feel vulnerable when we are not in the rat race.. disheartening it is I must say
