Popular or unpopular opinion: Semifinal 1 of Eurovision 2018 was the best semifinal we've ever experienced. 19 entries where almost all had qualification potential, only 10 spots so literally only about half of them could make it, it was a bloodbath in the best way.

For those of you who were in Malmö last year and in Basel this year: I know crowds were muted on TV, but was crowd noise quieter this year than last year? Even the Basel audience shots I’ve seen were much more subdued than last year.
